Thunder 16u EOBA A Champions!

Thunder 16u go undefeated in Ajax to win the EOBA A Championship for the third year in a row and will be going to the OBA A Championship for the third year in a row.
The OBA A Championship is on labour day weekend in Quinte.

EOBA A Championship - Hosted by Ajax - August 8-10

Game 1 
Thunder 15 Quinte Royals 1
Cohen Gallupe earned the win. Gallupe allowed 3 hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out five and walking one. Thunder scored 12 runs in one inning.

Game 2
Thunder 4 Ajax Spartans 3
Elliott Smith struck out 12 batters, allowed 2 hits, 2 runs, and walked 1 over 6 innings. The game was tied at three in the bottom of the seventh when Elliott Smith doubled, scoring one run. Jenson Shaver and Vaughan Angel each hit triples.

Game 3
Thunder 15 Kendal Eagles 5
Elliott Smith doubled in the third inning scoring three runs and doubled in the first scoring one. Logan Bedard earned the win giving up 9 hits and 5 runs over five innings striking out 7 and walking 2. Sam Gurd led the team with three hits.

Game 4 - Championship
Thunder 8 Uxbridge Grizzlies 5
Dylan Downie got the start. Downie surrendered 9 hits and 2 runs over 6 innings striking out 6 and walking 2.
Kingston took the lead in the bottom of the first thanks to singles by Cohen Gallupe and Logan Bedard.
Dylan Downie singled to center field and Kingston scored on a wild pitch. Kingston stole 9 bases, had a double play and didn't commit a single error in the field.
