Thunder 12u win in Northumberland 10-9 over the Jacks. Kingston Thunder 12U built a 6-run lead in the second inning and then held off Northumberland Jacks 12U's charge for a 10-9 victory on Wednesday. Kingston Thunder 12U flipped the game on its head in the top of the second, scoring seven runs on three hits to take the lead, 7-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Owen D on a full count that drove in two. A walk by Owen extended the Kingston Thunder 12U lead to 8-4 in the top of the third inning. Noah I started on the mound for Kingston Thunder 12U. The starter allowed six hits and five runs (two earned) over three and two-thirds innings, striking out nine and walking three. Willem P started on the hill for Northumberland Jacks 12U. The hurler allowed three hits and seven runs over one and one-third innings, striking out two and walking five. George H and Doyle B each appeared in relief for Kingston Thunder 12U. Owen and George each collected two hits for Kingston Thunder 12U. Bronx M and Owen each drove in two runs for Kingston Thunder 12U. Kingston Thunder 12U had patience at the plate, collecting eight walks for the game.
