Harrison Nichols struck out 10 batters as the starter led Kingston Thunder 18u
past Spartans A 18u 19-0 on Sunday. Nichols gave up zero hits and zero runs over five innings while walking none.

Kingston Thunder 18u won thanks in part to 11 runs in the third inning.
Dylan Downie scored after tagging up, a passed ball scored
one run, Cohen Gallupe singled, scoring one run,
Campbell Guthrie drew a walk, scoring one run, Downie doubled, scoring two runs,
Sam Gurd drew a walk, scoring one run, Colin Launderville doubled, scoring two runs,
Nichols doubled, scoring one run, and Gallupe singled, scoring one run.
Kingston Thunder 18u got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after
Nichols singled, scoring one run, Payton Gray drew a walk, scoring one run, Guthrie singled,
scoring one run, Pearson MacDonald was struck by a pitch,
driving in a run, and Gurd tripled, scoring three runs.
An error extended the Kingston Thunder
18u lead to 8-0 in the bottom of the second inning.
Chase Turner led things off on the bump for Spartans A 18U. The pitcher
allowed five hits and 12 runs (four earned) over two and
two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking five.
Kingston Thunder 18u piled up 10 hits in the game. Gallupe, Gurd, Nichols,
and Downie each collected two hits for Kingston Thunder 18u.
Gurd and Launderville were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in three runs
for Kingston Thunder 18u. Archie Pearson led Kingston Thunder 18u
with four walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing
