Caleb Paige
Caleb has been playing in our house league program for the last 10+ years.
This year he was instrumental in supporting his team, the Ravens in our high school division.
Caleb put his team first and would play whatever position was in need during
the games often sacrificing his desired position for the betterment of the team.
Congratulations to Caleb on a great Thunder season!
Caleb has also won this award at the EOBA level.

House Coach of the Year 11u & below
Aaron Martin
Aaron was the head coach of the 9u Grizzlies! The entire staff was phenomenal.Â
They held practices and were extremely encouraging. Every part of the experience
was positive and focused on how well the kids were trying. All of the kids are better,
more enthusiastic players from being on this team. Congratulations Aaron!

House Coach of the Year 14u & above
Tyler Hopkins & Cara Binette
Tyler Hopkins coached in two divisions this season the Tigers in 9u and the Looters in 14u.
He always had a positive energy towards the kids, other coaches, and the umpires.
He brings music to the ballpark and gives the kids walk up songs to make them feel like
they are part of pro team. He always gives them great feedback on how to improve
and is a really fun coach to have. Congratulations Tyler!
Tyler has also won this award at the EOBA level.
Cara Binette is also receiving House League coach of the year.
Cara puts in so much work behind the scenes from emails, lineups, scheduling
practices, physically helping with practices and helping to keep the dugout in order.
She really doesn't get the recognition she deserves. Congratulations Cara!

Marilyn Eimers Award - Female House Player of the Year all divisions
Jacqueline Baron
Jacqueline played on the 11u Fireballs. Always, as a coach, you're telling the
players to cheer on their teammates. Never have I seen a player cheer on their
teammates like Jackie does. She is always clapping and cheering them on by name and
actually paying attention to their at bats. It's contagious - I see other teammates watching
Jackie's example and doing it too. It is so refreshing to see her do that
naturally - a testament to her positive attitude and supportive nature to her teammates.
Great job Jackie!
House Pitcher of the Year all divisions
Gage James
Gage was new to Thunder this year and he made an impression.
Playing on the Hawks in our High school division Gage established
himself as a great team player and strong pitcher. Congratulations Gage!

and the batting average against him was .194!
Congratulations Porter!

Matt Brash Award – Rep Pitcher of the Year 14u & above

James played on our 14u Rep team. He is a complete player helping his
team with the bat, glove and on the mound.
James was a fantastic pitcher this season working the 2nd most innings on his team.
He also carried the offense that lead his team to an EOBA regular season record of 21-2-1
and a overall record of 30-10-1. In 41 games James average was .695, with 91 hits
and 87 RBI. James not only did it with his pitching and bat but also with his glove
making multiple great plays playing in left field most of the season.

Bronx had a great season with the Kingston Thunder 13u rep team. Bronx played in
25 games this year, offensively Bronx delivered 31 hits, including 7 doubles, 35 RBI and
scoring 20 runs as the teams three hole hitter. Defensively Bronx played catcher and 1b,
playing 49 innings as catcher and another 20 at first base. Where Bronx really impressed this
season was as a pitcher. In 25 innings pitched Bronx had an impressive WHIP of 1.28, allowing
only 15 hits this season and striking out 50 batters! While Bronx deserves recognition
for his ability as a player, he is also a great teammate and outstanding young man.
Congratulations Bronx!

He is a force on the mound and a powerhouse with the bat but more importantly,
Harry is a team player. He is everyone's hype man. He always has a fist bump,
smile or words of encouragement for everyone:
Coaches, players, parents.
He is a great kid who deserves to be recognized for his commitment
to making the team environment a positive one. Harry has also won this award
at the EOBA level.
Congratulations Harry!

Trevor is the head coach of our 13u Rep Team. He is also the rep director
and sits on our board of managers. Trevor dedicates an incredible amount time to
ensure that every detail of practice is covered. He constantly leads by example but is
humble enough to ask for input and opinions from his coaching staff. He is an example of what
hard work and dedication can do, taking a team with 2 wins in 2024 to 12 wins in 2025 to
24 wins in 2026 while capturing the #1 seed in the EOBA playdowns. The care and patience Trevor
has with his players is second to none, constantly pushing them to be the best versions of
themselves while working as a collective unit. Trevor is an excellent coach who runs great
practices and cares about the kids. Trevor sees where kids are having
difficulty and helps them out. Trevor and his entire coaching staff
did an outstanding job. Congratulations Trevor!

She also really challenged herself which made a marked difference on how the team performed. She worked to improve her base running and stole more bases as the season progressed. She was always running to cover wherever the play was on the field. Jill is an outstanding player and a truly great teammate. Congratulations Jill!

that comes through in every game he umpires. Cohen has played in our rep division

He is always at the field doing maintenance, lining, setting up equipment, facilitating
games with pitching machines, umpiring, and all around being a great guy who
all of our young players look up to, while still being a kid and participating
in his own games. Elliott was a great mentor this year to younger umps, showing
them the ropes and helping them gain confidence. That goes a long way for them and
shows kindness and camaraderie amongst the group. Elliott is a very consistent and
awesome umpire that all of the kids love having ump their games. Players are always
excited once he walks onto the field. He is always positive and
makes the right calls and has fun doing it! Congratulations Elliott!

through field maintenance, umpiring, and playing within the program, and Olivia volunteers
with the Challenger Program while also assisting with uniform distribution.
Behind the scenes, this family plays a vital role in the operation of both our House League
and Rep programs. They routinely receive, store, organize, deliver, and pick up equipment,
uniforms, awards, and countless other league materials. Their willingness to step up
whenever needed has made them a dependable cornerstone of our organization.
The time, energy, and dedication the Smith family has invested over countless seasons
cannot be overstated. Much of what happens behind the scenes to keep Thunder running
smoothly is made possible through their hard work and commitment. Kingston Thunder
would not be where it is today without the incredible contributions of the Smith family,

The Smith Family have also won this award this year at the next two levels: the EOBA & Baseball Ontario!
Amazing! Congrats!

Scholarship Award:
Reed Kane
Each year, Kingston Thunder selects a member to receive the Scholarship award.
This year it was an incredibly easy decision to make. Reed has been with Thunder since Timbits.
He was assistant coach of the 14u rep team, has assisted in reaching out to veteran players
to try and start a 19+ house league, and when not playing himself, or umpiring
he is always around to assist the board members with whatever they need done
from carrying boxes, counting inventory, or whatever else needs to be done.
Reed always has a smile or a laugh and is a strong member of the Thunder family.
Reed is an invaluable part of the 14u Rep coaching staff and has made an incredible
impact on our players throughout the season. His positive attitude, knowledge of the game,
and infectious good mood have made such a difference not only in our kids’ performance
on the field, but also in their confidence, attitudes, and enjoyment of the game.
Reed is mature, kind, encouraging, and genuinely cares about every player on the team.
Despite having an incredibly busy schedule, he never misses a game and always makes the
time to be there. He consistently goes above and beyond what is expected.
Reed brings so much energy and positivity to Thunder, and his contribution has
been a huge part of what has made this such a fantastic season.
Reed is attending St. Lawrence College in the Police Foundations program!
