Brash Tosses No Hitter for Thunder
Thursday May 20th - Brooklyn Field, Whitby, ON
The Kingston Thunder Peewee team's bats were alive thursday in Whitby.
Thunder smacked 10 hits cashing in 11 runs.
Quinn Cota and Justin Fair had 3 RBI apiece while Kyle Casford added
2 RBI.
Despite the offense the highlight of the game was the pitching performance
of Matthew Brash.
Brash went the distance surrendering no hits to the Chiefs. Brash
struck out 8 Whitby batsmen and allowed only two runners
both reaching on walks. Whitby took away the shutout when a pick-off
attempt at second got past all Thunder defenders.
Thunder won the game 11-1 improving their record to 5-3 on the season.
Thunder's next action is May 29 at Woodbine when they
host the Pickering Red Sox for a pair of games.
